Overview Questions

The Yellow Ribbon Race is a key event of the Yellow Ribbon Project, a national campaign aimed at giving ex-offenders a second chance in life.

This year sees the rebranding of the Yellow Ribbon Prison Run into our inaugural Yellow Ribbon Race. #YRRace2022 is a hybrid event that aims to increase accessibility and inclusivity.

Themed, “I Race for Second Chances”, the event offers both virtual and physical categories. Join us in raising awareness and funds that would support our ex-offenders and their families as they navigate the journey of reintegration.

The Yellow Ribbon Race 2022 offers both virtual and physical categories.

By choosing the virtual race, participants could choose to show your support through:
  • Foot (e.g running/walking/hiking),

All you need is to track the date, distance and duration of your activity using a GPS-enabled app, e.g., STRAVA.
